What I do
I am a certified and registered Therapeutic Coaching practitioner. Therapeutic Coaching is a modern and powerful alternative to traditional counselling and psychotherapy.
Heal the past. Live in the now. Create the future.
As a trained practitioner, I am equipped with a comprehensive toolkit which integrates key principles of psychotherapy, developmental psychology, neuro-linguistic programming, hypnotherapy, mindfulness, Emotional Freedom Technique and life coaching, allowing a truly flexible approach for each and every client depending on what is needed.
Although the format is largely ‘talking therapy’, this is an active, goal oriented process. As in coaching, I’ll teach you tools and techniques to use between sessions, to ensure that the work doesn’t just happen while you’re sat in the chair in session with me.

Who I work with
I work with adults, face to face in Sevenoaks, Kent or online via zoom.
Issues are wide ranging and can vary from ‘I feel generally depressed’ to ‘I have a specific fear of XYZ’ to ‘I live in a state of heightened anxiety’ and all sorts of others.
As well as 1:1 therapeutic work, I also run coaching courses for groups. Although primarily focussed on self-development and growth, my aim is create sessions that are fun, light-hearted and supportive for all.
Am I the right practitioner for you?
Until we’ve ‘met’ online, it will be difficult to know. I offer a free 25 minute chat via zoom. You’ll have a sense by the end of it whether you feel you’d like to continue or not, as will I. One of the most important things is the therapeutic relationship and you need to find someone you feel comfortable with and who you feel suits your needs.

Practicalities
After an initial 25 minute chat on zoom (free of charge), I’ll send you a client questionnaire and contract for you to fill in and return if you have decided you would like to work with me. This will provide us both with clear guidelines of our working arrangement and also gives me further detailed information I need about the issue, in order to start working with you.
Sessions are 60 or 90 minutes long, as your behest.
Most clients prefer to agree a set number of sessions before reviewing and deciding on the next course of action. Some clients prefer an open-ended arrangement. Either is fine and we will discuss this on our call.
Testimonials
It was my first experience with any therapy sessions, and I really loved our sessions. Clare was easy to talk to, very relaxed, and I got some excellent suggestions on how to do things differently in future, which I have definitely benefited from. Seeing things from someone else’s perspective who is not closely involved in your life, is also a very positive thing. Helped me so much.
Thank you, Clare.
Talking to Clare felt so easy, despite the issue being so emotionally sensitive. She really took the time to understand me and helped me process my emotions. I was surprised how quickly I felt things change for me.
I really valued my sessions with Clare this summer. I was very nervous before our first session but was immediately put at ease through the initial zoom consultation; Clare was very understanding, listening to my worries and problems straight away and made me feel like my worries weren’t completely unjustified and that the problem was solvable.
As much as I initially thought that zoom sessions would work best for me, I got the most out of the in-person sessions in the end and the visualisations we did in these. Clare was amazing at setting the scene for visualisations and I really felt I could get into them.
I highly recommend Clare for her warmth and easy-going nature. I’ve had psychotherapy before but really liked this different approach. She taught me some really effective tools and techniques that I will continue to use to help me in future. I’ve really benefitted from the sessions and feel generally more positive and ‘lighter’ in my life.
